Refrigerant Compressed Air Dryer
High-Pressure Non-Cycling Refrigeration Dryers
Reliable High Quality Air for Demanding Environments
Maximum reliability at working pressures up to 45 barg
CompAir high-pressure refrigeration dryers deliver safe and constant quality, dry compressed air for various demanding environments such as PET bottle blowing, water jet cuts and aeronautical valves, in ambient temperatures of up to 50°C. Delivering consistent dew point control of +3°C for reliable and dry compressed air, this range of ten robust, compact and space-saving dryers provide maximum reliability at flow rates of between 88m3/h to 1, 200m3/h (at a nominal pressure of 40 barg).
Fully integrated three in one stainless steel heat exchangers offer reliability and long life. At the same time, energy efficiency is increased by 10% over previous models, and CO2 footprint is reduced with the use of the new R513A refrigerant. High-pressure non-cycling refrigeration dryers from CompAir – efficiency and reliability by design support the sustainability of our product and customer operations.

A refrigerant compressed air dryer, especially a high-pressure non-cycling refrigeration dryer, is designed to remove moisture from compressed air systems operating in demanding, high-pressure environments (up to 45 barg). Here’s a clear breakdown of what that means and why it matters:
🔧 What It Is
A non-cycling refrigerated air dryer continuously runs its refrigeration system to cool compressed air, condense moisture, and remove it—regardless of load fluctuations. Unlike cycling dryers, it doesn’t turn off during low demand, which improves stability and reliability.
⚙️ Key Features
1. High-Pressure Capability
Designed for working pressures up to 45 barg (≈650 psi)
Suitable for heavy-duty industries like:
Oil & gas
PET bottle blowing
Power plants
Aerospace systems
2. Non-Cycling Operation
Refrigeration compressor runs continuously
Ensures:
Stable dew point
No moisture spikes
Better performance under fluctuating loads
3. Consistent Dew Point
Typically maintains a pressure dew point around +3°C to +5°C
Prevents:
Corrosion in pipelines
Damage to pneumatic tools
Product contamination
4. Robust Heat Exchanger Design
Often uses stainless steel or high-strength alloys
Built to handle:
High pressure
Thermal stress
Long operational life
5. Efficient Moisture Separation
Integrated moisture separators and automatic drains
Ensures complete removal of condensed water
🛡️ Reliability & Durability
These dryers are built for continuous industrial use, with features like:
Heavy-duty refrigeration compressors
High-pressure rated vessels and piping
Corrosion-resistant materials
Advanced control systems for monitoring and safety
🌍 Applications
Ideal for environments where air quality and pressure stability are critical:
High-pressure air systems (30–45 barg)
Instrument air in hazardous zones
Chemical processing plants
Pharmaceutical manufacturing
Food & beverage (non-contact air systems)
⚖️ Advantages
Maximum reliability (no cycling delays)
Stable performance in variable loads
Low risk of condensation carryover
Simple operation and maintenance
⚠️ Considerations
Higher energy consumption vs cycling dryers (since it runs continuously)
Requires proper ventilation and cooling
Slightly higher upfront cost, but offset by reliability
