Rotary Screw Air Compressors
L Series 7 - 11 kW
Fixed & Regulated Speed
Well known in the industry for quality and reliability, CompAir continuously develops and expands the L-Series to achieve optimum performance and efficiency and maximum flexibility. The wide range of screw compressors from 7 to 11 kW includes fixed and regulated speed models, high efficiency models and is available as airstation including receiver and refrigerant dryer.
Engineering Excellence
Compressors are more than just a financial investment, they are a key component in ensuring that manufacturers, processors and operators receive consistent, high quality low cost air. The screw compression element is the heart of the compressor and therefore CompAir keeps the design and manufacture in-house, using the latest CNC rotor grinding machinery, coupled with online laser technology. The resulting reliability and performance ensure that operating costs will remain low throughout the compressor’s life.
Benefits
Compressor base mounted

Small carbon foot print (by mounting the components on the receiver the footprint is reduced up to 55%)
In-house AirEnd
Highly efficient motors
Easy maintenance
Wide regulation range
🛠️ About L-Series 7 – 11 kW Rotary Screw Air Compressors
📌 General Features
Power range: ~7 kW (≈10 HP) to ~11 kW (≈15 HP).
Types: Available in fixed-speed and regulated/variable-speed (RS) models depending on energy and load variation requirements.
Oil-lubricated design: Most L-Series compressors use oil-flooded screw elements for efficient compression, reliable performance and lower noise levels.
Configurations: Can be sold as standalone units, or as AirStation packages that include a receiver tank and refrigerated dryer for better air quality.
Applications: Ideal for small to medium industrial or workshop needs — powering tools, blowing, pneumatic processes, paint booths, etc.
🔋 Performance and Efficiency
Flow/Capacity: Typical free air delivery (FAD) approx ~0.4 – 1.9 m³/min (depending on model and pressure).
Pressure: Often configurable between ~7 bar up to ~13 bar depending on model and regulator settings.
Energy control: Variable speed (regulated) models adjust motor speed to match air demand, which can reduce energy use.
Noise: Many models are designed with sound-insulated enclosures, running quieter than older piston compressors.
🧠 How to Choose (Quick Tips)
Fixed vs Variable Speed:
Fixed speed is simpler and more economical if your compressed air demand is fairly constant.
Variable speed (RS) models save energy when air use fluctuates.
Package Options: Compressor only is cheaper, but an AirStation package with receiver + dryer improves air quality and reduces condensate issues.
Duty Cycle & Sizing: Choose a model whose FAD (m³/min) meets or slightly exceeds your peak air demand.
